Act Fast: Scholarships for Intensive Writing Retreat in Northern California
Interested in receiving one-on-one help plotting your novel or memoir? Writer Path is offering two full scholarships to its long-weekend writing intensive May 1-3, 2015.
One scholarship is for “a mother writer who could really use the time away from her children to devote to her own writing.”
The other scholarship is for “someone in need of serious self-care for any reason you care to share. From grief to financial hardship, we want to help.”
If either of these describe you, then you need to act fast. Scholarship applications must be submitted by April 15, 2015. Note travel expenses are not covered, but registration fees, food and lodging are included.
Authors Martha Alderson (The Plot Whisperer Book of Writing Prompts) and Jordan Rosenfeld (Make a Scene: Crafting a Powerful Story One Scene at a Time) conduct the retreat with a view toward nourishing your body and spirit as well as your writing.
This writing intensive will be held at the beautiful Mount Madonna Center near Monterrey, California. Sounds like the idea place to take a brief sabbatical from life and work on your passion project!
